In this post we will talk about how to prepare ourselves to receive the Spirit of Allah. Thanks to Allah's mercy, Hazrat Isa al Masih is alive in heaven, and he is the one who sends the Spirit down upon us. He wants to send the Spirit down upon us; but we need to prepare ourselves to receive the Spirit.

Hazrat Isa al Masih (PBUH) gives the Spirit to those who love him. He gets this power from Allah, whom Hazrat Isa calls Father. Those who love Hazrat Isa al Masih are those who learn and keep his commandments. But remember, we cannot keep Hazrat Isa's commandments on our own power. We need the power of the Spirit. The Spirit is our helper - the one who gives us the power - and the Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, this means the Spirit is our guide - the one who teaches us what is true. So, to prepare ourselves to receive the Spirit, the first step is to tell Hazrat Isa that we want to be his faithful student and keep his commandments. This is a decision we need to make.
